The Wilson is a little on the low side today but still fishing. The prediction shows it starting to rise Saturday morning, which seems a little odd being as the rain starts on Friday. My advice is to keep an eye on the river level before heading out on Saturday morning. Whenever the rains stop and the river drops there should be good opportunity for both hatchery and wild steelhead (catch-and-release only for wilds).‌

The upper river, below the South Fork, should come into shape a little faster and there is plenty of bank access off Hwy. 6. Overall fishing has been fair to good this season when the conditions are right.
