The Fall River is almost always a good place to fish in the area and holds a special place in my heart from all the memories made there since the early 80’s. It’s way more crowded these days but I encourage folks to go early in the morning or after 3 and stay to dusk and that is way better.
Hatches have been good most days with Tan Caddis #14-16, Olive-Gray Caddis #16, PMD #16, Midges #22, Yellow Sally and Olive Stones #16-18 plus Ants, Beetles and Grasshoppers working on the surface.
Euro jig Streamers and Perdigons are excellent, I would also use an Olive Hares Ear, Zebra Midge, Tungsten Micro Mayfly in Brown #16 and Olive #18-20 and Black #20 or a 2 Bit with the same size and color range as discussed with the Micro May’s. Egg’s and Mop Flies are often overlooked in the summer but they are good flies for the Fall River fish, and should be in the fly box.
