Fall River is fishing exceptionally well right now, with nymphing and small streamers leading the charge. Key nymph patterns that have been working include Rainbow Warriors, Purple Perdigons, Zebra Midges, Red Copper Johns, eggs, and tan caddis pupa. For a faster sink, try Baby Got Bead Perdigons. Terrestrial patterns like hoppers and beetles are also worth trying, particularly in a dry-dropper setup, with a foam dry on top and a nymph or two underneath. For dry flies, black ants, Griffith’s gnats, BWO, PMD, and tan CDC caddis are solid choices. Streamer fishing around downed timber is proving productive, with Soccer Moms and micro tungsten leeches being top picks. Overall, Fall River offers a fantastic mix of nymphing, dry fly, and streamer action. It's a great time to hit the water!
