Fishing has been excellent on the Lower D, with flows stabilizing and clarity improving. Stonefly nymphs are on the move, and trout are beginning to key in. Goldenstones AND Salmonflies have been spotted as well lower down and it's only a matter of time until they're up in the day stretch in higher numbers. Look to the edges and structure where fish are staging ahead of the big hatch. Perdigons, Girdle Bugs, CDC Pheasant Tails, and caddis pupae are top producers. March Browns and early PMDs have been spotted during the warmer parts of the day. Water levels are still pushing but very manageable.
