Captain Temo Verboonen, reporting for the fleet at Zihuatanejo,
offered an exciting weekly report and reflected excellent catches of
billfish, both blue marlin and striped marlin and starting at just 10
miles out from the Bay entrance. Temo says, "the fish are eager to
bite and are biting everything from artificials to live bait and
rigged baits and the skippers that are fishing are reporting numerous
bites for their fishing days. The inshore catches for jack cravelle
and chulas continues to be very good and even a few roosterfish are
showing up in the daily catches and improving everyday".
