I had a pleasure of fishing once again with Homan Khaki and John Thompson aboard the SEABISCUIT last Sunday. We anchored up at the squid ground at Santa Rosa Island and made some few squid. It was freezing cold but sun came out in the afternoon. We started up with few hook ups on the giant rays but no biscuits. Captain Bobby decided to move to catch some Rockfish. We had a good time catching fish. One thing about Captain Bobby he moves around if the spot is dead. We ended up close to limit on Rockfish. I took the jackpot on a 10.5 Sheephead. Our total fish count: 1 Lingcod, 2 California Sheephead, 155 Rockfish and 7 Whitefish for 18 anglers. Overall, the trip was awesome. The crew did an outstanding job on this trip. They worked hard untangling lines and bagging fish. Chef John is an outstanding cook. All in all, Captain Bobby runs a superb operation. I would like to thank Captain Bobby and the crew for a great awesome trip. All of our passengers had a good time. SEABISCUIT is available for charter and open party trips.
