Almost all species have been hitting. Bass are being caught in almost any cove with creature baits, texas rigs, blades and shallow cranks. There were several limits of trout taken as well, and trollers using lead core 3 to 4 colors with dodger/crawler or dodger/needlefish combos. Best areas were the dam, in front of Johnsons, and Harveys Bay. Shore anglers did well on e point, with Powerbait the top producer.

Crappie showed up back in the narrows and in Jackrabbit flats with mini jigs and red worms both working for the slabs. Catfish also were in the narrows, with mackerel accounting for the kitties.

Bow fishing for carp has been steady and Arrowhead Island, Storke Flats and just about anywhere with lots of bulrush has been productive. Bluegill and red ear were also reported, but baits and locations were unavailable.

Trout fishing has been fair, but the "bows" that come in have all been quality, with several between 5 and 7 being weighed in at the tackle shop. Trolling lead core 3 to 4 colors anywhere from the......
