"We came home from a 2.75-day trip," said the report from Vagabond for July 16, "with 118 BFT between 18 and around 35 pounds, around 25 nice Yellows from 15 to 30 pounds, two Dorado and around 15 Yellowfin from 25 to 35 lbs. Our crew did an awesome job with a full load of happy anglers. The fish responded best to 25 and 30-pound line with flourocarbon leaders, with a nose-hooked flylined sardine on a 2/0 size hook. Most of the fish day one were on jumpers and day two were on breezers. Afternoon bite both days was better than the morning. Our last stop of day two lasted around five hours. We had to drive away from them biting to get home on time."
