Lake Mead Fish Report 07-11-07

It's HOT! And that means most anglers are coming off the water early in the morning. But those who are willing to endure the heat have been finding good action for striped bass. Most anglers are finding success with hardware, some on top of the water and some a little deeper. Anglers using cut bait have also been catching fish, but not as many as those using lures. The area from Gypsum Wash to Sand Island seems to be the place. Crawdad and Boxcar Coves can also be productive. In the Overton Arm anglers generally do well near Stewart's Point.
