The white bass fishing has been red hot. Fly fishermen familiar with the lake have had 100 fish days. The fish are not that big but the action is non-stop. Evenings have been best. Try fishing where the Truckee canal comes into the lake with a floating line. Put on a bass popper with a small white or chartreuse Woolybugger trailer. Wipers and Walleye's can also be caught here using clouser minnow patterns.
