http://www.shogunsportfishing.comAfter showing that improved sign for us last night on the way out, today the bite just shut-down. We saw plenty of fish, jumpers, on the machines, but they were playing the same game they have been all year and just not biting. The hot jig of the day, seems to be the mega bait in the smaller sizes. The problem with this is the hook arrangement on them, they are too light and have a tendency to strighten out. Good weather.

Well, today was slow. We hit a number of kelp paddy's for really not much, a handful of dorado is all. It seems there were plenty of fish in the water, but possibly from the fishing pressure of the last week, these fish just didn't want to bite. We have almost calm seas which make for good looking conditions. ......
