Fishing has slowed down this week with only a few lucky anglers getting a catch. With the weather being indecisive from warm to cold and rainy to now warm again fish haven't been biting as often as befre, Trout have still been biting on micetails, kastmasters, and bright colored powerbaits along the East beach and throughout the Lower Narrows. A fortunate angler caught a hefty Catfush of 12.21 lbs on anchovies in between the east beach and south end. Anchovies and Mackerel would be the best bait to use in brushed areas throughout the lake. Stripers, Largemouth, Smallmouth Bass have been in hiding lately also with very few being reported but, deep diving Crank-baits, Swimbaits, and umbrella rigs seem to do the trick along rock walls and drop offs in the Narrows.

Fish Plants: 1-17-14 2500 lbs from DFG 1-23-14 750 lbs from Mt. Lassen 1-30-14 750 lbs from Mt. Lassen
