This Last week has been a slow week of fishing. Weather is warming up as is the water temperature of 56 degrees at the end of the docks. Trout bite has been consistent using Mice tails, Garlic Power Eggs, and Silver Kastmasters works best along the East Beach and Lower Narrows. Bass bite is starting to pick up off roboworms, crank bait, and Senkos work best along the rock wall along the Narrows. No Striper action reported. Crappie have now also been caught across from the Marina using night crawlers. Catfish bite picking up also using anchovies or chicken livers in the South End.

Cody Demera from Pleasanton caught a 7.65 lb. Trout a Rapala in the Narrows.
Louis & Jonathan Rico from San Jose caught a 5.53 lb. Trout and a stringer of 4 Trout weighing 13.73 lbs. on a Kastmaster at the East beach.
Alec Michaels from Livermore caught a 8.77 lb. Catfish on anchovies at the East Beach.

It is 56 degrees at the end of the docks. Water level is still rising very gradually. Fishing for Trout has been doing well with drifting along the lower narrows and in front of the docks; cast and retrieve along the Lower Narrows and East Beach bank seems to work best using Kastmasters, Micetails, bright colored Powerbait, and Night Crawlers. A few more Catfish have been reported being caught on Anchovies in South in the South End and far side......

This last week fishing hasn't been at its best with the rain and wind coming through. Water level has rose a couple of feet with water temperatures still cold at 47 degrees. Drifting and cast and retrieve along the Lower Narrows and east beach seems to work best for Trout. They are hitting Kastmasters, micetails, and bright colored powerbait. A few catfish have been reported being caught on anchovies or chicken liver on the South End of the lake.......
