Her artwork of two smiling girls fishing at Lake Mead will now be featured on this year's Free Fishing Day poster promoting Free Fishing Day and will also be in the 2014-15 Nevada Fishing Guide.
The runner-up spots went to Ethan Callan, fifth grader from Sutro Elementary in Dayton, and fourth grader Tran Ta from Bernice Mathews Elementary in Reno.

As the winner, Biglete will receive a framed copy of her artwork and a fishing rod and reel. She and her family will also be treated to a guided fishing outing.
"What I like best about fishing is being outside and enjoying nature," said Biglete. She also added that her family helped give her ideas for her drawing.
This year's theme for the Nevada Free Fishing Day Poster Contest was "Reel in the Memories." A total of 261 entrants from 30 schools statewide participated in this year's contest.
Free Fishing Day takes place on Saturday, June 14 this year. The statewide event allows anglers to fish any public fishing water in the state without a fishing license or trout stamp, while all limits and other regulations apply.
