Hyrum Reservoir & State Park Fish Report

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://wildlife.utah.gov

Anglers report great fishing at Hyrum. Trout are still cruising around the shoreline and near the surface of the water. Anglers who fish from the shore are having great success using worms two to four inches under the surface of the water. You might also want to try spinners; white or gold Lil' Jake's lures; and perch-colored Rapalas. One angler recently landed a 22-inch brown trout. Small perch and bluegill can easily be seen and caught around the dock. The Hyrum State Park tagged fishing contest will run until Nov. 30. A few tagged fish have already been caught, but many are still out there! Prizes include, but are not limited to: Camp Chef two burner stove and portable campfire, fishing supplies from Al's Sporting Goods, Sportsman's Warehouse gift cards, a one-year supply of Coca-Cola, a one-year supply of Pepsi, dutch oven from IFA, many gift cards to local restaurants and even cash! Thanks to Park Manager Chris Bradshaw for the fishing report.
