Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govWater clarity is excellent, and you can easily see fish swimming and feeding at the lower dam. Try using a fly-and-bubble rig with dry flies or nymphs. For the rest of the river, use egg patterns and streamers. Brown trout are very aggressive as they prepare to spawn. Near Tony Grove and Temple Fork, try using dry flies and nymphs. Anglers are catching whitefish in the lower sections of the river using scuds. They are also catching rainbows and cutthroats on black woolly buggers. Now is a great time to come out and fish the river. Thanks to Colton at the Round Rocks Fly Shop for his report.
