Vegas Wash continues to produce plenty of bait for anglers looking to catch a few striped bass, many of which are being caught not far from this area. The larger shad have drawn in the larger fish. Working plugs matching the shad in size, up to 12 inches in some cases, can ignite a response from these larger striped bass. If fish are present but not responding, try throwing different colors or sizes of bait.
