http://norcal.fishreports.comThe water temperature is about 72 degrees with 3 feet of clarity. The trout bite is still on. There were a lot of fish being caught all over the lake. Fishing from the Main Rec, Pines and Tower area has been the best for shore anglers. Boaters have been having the best luck at Sandy Point, and Scow Canyon. Rainbow or Garlic Power-Bait for the Trout is the best. Fish your Power bait using a sliding sinker rig. If the bite slows try using inflated night crawlers to catch both trout, catfish and bass. The Broken-Back Fire-Tiger Rapala, and Kastmasters are being used to catch trout on the troll.
The bass bite has slowed down. Still a few anglers are finding them by drop shotting. The Main rec, Scow canyon and boat launch being the better spots. In the preserve area there has been a lot of bass and catfish sighting. The only trick is that you cannot bring a gas motor into that area. Only kayaks or electric motors.
Catfish have been biting in the back of Scow canyon on Nightcrawlers, Anchovies and Chicken livers. The water temperatures have been holding in the lower 70’s has kept the catfish bite down.
