http://norcal.fishreports.comThe water temperature is 74 degrees. Trout have been providing the best action. There were a lot of fish being caught all over the lake. The Main rec is great spot to fish, fish from the pier or along the front of the gazebos. Venturing farther down towards the tower also will yield a good amount of bites. Boaters best bet would be to go to the Rock Wall and Sandy Point. Rainbow or garlic Power Bait for the trout is the best. If the bite slows try using inflated night crawlers to catch rout, catfish and bass. The bass bite has slowed down. Still a few anglers are finding them by drop shotting. The Main rec, Scow canyon and boat launch being the better spots. In the preserve area there has been a lot of bass and catfish sightings. Catfish have been biting in the back of Scow canyon and the preserve on nightcrawlers, anchovies and chicken livers. (510) 223-1661
