http://norcal.fishreports.comA plant of 1,000 pounds of trout went in last week. Trout fishing is best in Howden Cove and Peninsula Cove with Power Bait or nightcrawlers. Most trout being caught weigh 1 to 3 pounds. Most anglers average 1 to 2 fish per rod. Limits are tough to come by. Striper bite is solid. Most are undersized in the 12 to 16 inch range. Cowboy Cove and South Cove hold stripers. Anglers do get limits of legal stripers with anchovies or swim baits. (925) 371-2628
