Striper bite has picked up. A 30-pounder was caught last week. Most are three to five pounds. Use Whopper Ploppers early and late and use P-Line Spoons once the sun is on the water. Black bass bite is so-so. Buzz baits work early. Punching will work in grass with current. White or chartreuse spinner Baits will work in clear water. Dirtier water requires black and red.
