Trolling is still working to catch trout. Troll near the dam and the Pines. Shore anglers have been having better luck in the early morning or late evenings when the water is cooler. Try soaking Garlic or chartreuse Power Bait.
Throw Kastmasters or spinner baits to catch bass hiding in the shade on hot summer day. Look under docks around the Main Rec or Boat launch. The hot spot for catching catfish is at the boat launch on the other side of the hill or by Big Point. Best baits are nightcrawlers, chicken livers and anchovies.
