http://norcal.fishreports.comThat great bite is “still on” inside the Hamilton Branch. Fishing Pressure has been high as guys line the banks above the power house looking for hook ups. Boats cannot get in there due to the lower water levels and boulders blocking access. Fly fishermen, Baits soakers, bobber droppers, and lure slingers are all getting hits. While most guys are on the up and up, several were not. Salmon are also stacked in front of the branch, preparing for a spawn run that’s due to happen any time now. Lots of big salmon to 5 pounds, and a few smaller ones in the mix. Trolling the mouth of the Branch can be risky as a tight turn is required as you enter and exit the mouth of the Branch. Naked crawlers at 30 feet Best bite has been early, after the sun gets up that Salmon bite slows down a bit. Big browns are at Rec. 2, chasing jigs. Lake levels are low, watch for hazards.
