Fishing continues to be very good. Trolling 4-6 feet deep has done well but there are trout deeper at 12 to 15 feet below the surface. Find success frolling shallow rock piles on the west side between Christie & Wildcat Point through Lake of the Woods up to Slough Point for the first couple hours then moving out to 35 to 49 feet of water. The trout are still pounding the bait fish but they are also working a fresh spawn of shrimp suspended over the deeper water. The fish being caught are healthy and fat and around 2 pounds but there are larger fish over 19-20+ inches and pushing more than 3 pounds coming from the rock piles and shallow ledges. www.eaglelakefishing.net
