Striped bass are the best thing going although the bite has slowed a touch. Bass from 12 to 25 pounds are being caught on cut bait. Smaller fish will take top water lures. Most of the action is near False River at the north end of the tract. Black bass are in a transition as seasons change. Bass will hit slowly-offered crank baits near rip rap. Punching will work, too.
