East Walker River Fish Report 11-05-07

Truckee River Outfitters

Report Date:

The East Walker has been an excellent bet. The water is low and both the Nevada and California sides of the river have been good. Most fish are being caught with indicator nymphing methods but there is always that chance of a little afternoon dry fly fishing, especially on an overcast day. Although the low water can make fishing streamers challenging it is worth a shot if you are after big fish. The best flies have been Zebra Midge 18-22, WD 40 18-22, Copper Johns 18-20, San Juan Worms 16, and Stanley Streamers
