Black bass bite is very good. Weekend tournament was won with 53 pounds over two days. Big fish was a 9.98 pounder. Most of the fish were caught drop-shotting. When the wind picked up, Lucky Craft crank baits were effective. Spinner baits also produced fish. Stripers are thick around Liberty Island. Stripers to 32 pounds have been landed.
