Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comWater temperature is up to 60 degrees by the boat launch, 58 in the middle. Rainbows of all shapes and sizes are being seen and caught Power Bait, nightcrawlers, and Rapalas are producing. Stripers are turning on in the heat, many smaller stripers were brought in this week. No big stripes showed themselves this week. Mackerel is the go to cut baits its very oily and fatty so it creates a scent trail like no other, closely followed by sardines. Catfish are being seen in the shallows. Largemouth and smallmouth bass have completely disappeared from their beds, I don't know if the spawn is already over or if the water level of the Lake is to blame as it dropped about 6-8 inches.
