Mooching minnows get San Luis stripers

Main lake is better than forebay. Jumbo minnows mooched in Portuguese Cove or trolling with Rapalas can get stripers in the 20 to 24 inch range. Majority of bass are deep. Forebay has a good largemouth bite for fish weighing 2 to 5 pounds. Striper bite is OK but fish are small. Pile worms and blood worms are the top baits. A few catfish are being caught near Check 12.
