Catfish starting to prowl at Del Valle

Catfish are starting to stir. Best action are at the East Beach with chicken livers. Biggest last week was a 6.8 pound cat hooked by Jennifer Grower of San Jose. Largemouth have been active. Most are 1 to 2 pounds. Rock Wall and through the narrows is holding bass. Striper bite is solid. No size, however. Trout bite is good. Find rainbows in the deeper water near the dam. (925) 449-5201
