Shad fishing continues to be good. Good spots are Butte City, Ord Bend and the boat landing at Scotty’s. There are shaker stripers at the same spots. There are occasional keepers, including a 37-pounder. Use jumbo minnows or cut baits. Pencil Poppers will work during low light.
