Little Truckee Flows ??43 cfs.

The Little Truckee is still producing a few fish but the fishing is very technical. The key to success is a very stealthy approach, small flies and light tippets. Keep your profile low and presentations gentle and you should catch a few fish. Small flies are the order of the day!

Most fish are being caught by dead drifting small nymphs and midges but some days a decent hatch of Blue Wing Olive Mayflies will bring fish to the surface. The best fishing has been on overcast days. The best fly patterns are; Andys Two-Tone Hunchback Nymph 18-20, BH Micro Mayflies 16-18, Zebra Midges 18-22, Griffiths Gnat 22, Hatchmaster BWO 18-20, HBI nymph 18, Copper Johns 18-20, and Adams Parachutes 18-20
