Cats biting at Lafayette

Fishing at Lafayette Reservoir has been steadily picking up. Our last catfish plant was on July 1st for 1,200 lbs of catfish from Mt. Lassen. Our next catfish plant is scheduled for Wednesday July 8th for 1,200 lbs. from Mt. Lassen hatchery. The bass are still biting from the south end on plastic RoboWorms. Catfish are biting on livers and worms. On Monday June 29th Owen Pines a local fisherman from Orinda caught a 4.7 lb bass using worms off of the dock behimf our visitor cener. (see attached photo) On Saturday July 4th two local fisherman from Concord caught and released 21 bass using nightcrawlers. (925) 284-9669
