Great trout bite in Mammoth Basin

Trout fishing in the Mammoth Basin continues to be excellent with Mary and George being the best, by far. Mice tails are the top bait. Leo Smith of Los Angeles caught an 8.8 pounder from Lake Mary. Alex Gilmore of Rancho Palos Verde caught 7 and 5 pound trout from Lake George with Mice Tails. The best time to fish is in the evening. Mornings are OK, but evenings have been outstanding.
