Hello everyone, weather continues to be outstanding out here at Hurricane bank. Flat seas, warm days, and sunny skies. The only thing that didn't make this a perfect day was the two S's. You wonder what Big D is talking about this time. Well the first S is for slow fishing, and the second S is for SHARKS. The sharks are a big problem for the slow fishing. It's very hard to keep a kite bait, even a Sardine out for more than 5 minutes. Then we had the mishaps, spectra breaking, top shots not working like they should, hooks pulling, you name it, and yes it happened today. It surprises me that Billy didn't hang himself today on the boom, but he has nerves like a lion and tomorrow is another day. So to put it plan and simple, it was a very tough day of catching. The Yellowfin that we tagged today were in the 80 to 120 pound range. One thing we have on our side is time. We still have 8 full days of fishing. We will try to get two tanks of flyers tonight.
