Hello everyone;
The morning started out with a good breakfast, great weather, and flat seas. But someone forgot to tell the Bluefin we were in town. We had a slow morning, but the day is long. We stopped on school, after school, after school. Only to land a few Bluefin for our morning bite.
But as the day goes on, the bite started getting better and better. We had one angler get his daily limit in just two cast on a stop today. The bite was not wide open, but if you put your time in, you had a good day. The key was light line, 20 to 25 pound test, and if you had fluorocarbon, it helped a lot.
We caught fish on the fly-line, flat fall, and the sinker rig. We had three size of fish today, one was the 40 to 50 pound fish, another was the 25 to 35 pound fish, and we had a few smaller grade fish also, but majority of the fish were in the 25 to 35 pound range.
No jumbos today, but we have high hopes on tomorrow, so wish us luck. Team R/p.
