Penn Day in Sacramento headlined by Brian Sims; features seminars by expert saltwater fishing angler-educators
The biggest-ever saltwater fishing symposium in the city of Sacramento will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, at Pacific Extreme Sports new location, 1313 N. Market Blvd #120, Sacramento [near Arco Arena].
Free seminars on a wide variety of saltwater fishing styles will be delivered by well-known experts. A full day of fishing information, food, fun and tons of prizes including a Penn Torque TRQ200 reel, deluxe jacket from the boat Royal Star, and a pair of passes aboard an overnight boat from Fishermans Landing in San Diego. A Captain aboard the world-famous long-range boat Royal Star out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego, Brian Sims is one of the true pioneers of modern standup fishing techniques for "cow" yellowfin tuna in excess of 200 pounds, and even "super cows" in excess of 300 pounds. Long-range, big-game and tuna anglers should consider this seminar a "must-do"!
Captain Jay Yokomizo
Seminar topic- Bay Potluck and Live Bait
Owner of the New Huck Finn out of Emeryville Sportfishing, Captain Jay Yokomizo specializes in light tackle live bait fishing for striped bass, halibut, rockfish and sturgeon. After many years of running one of the Bay Area's most popular party boats, Jay has seen it all, and is happy to impart his knowledge to fellow anglers.

More than two decades on the water in Northern California and San Diego have made Tommy Zizzo one of the most respected albacore experts anywhere. He spent several years as skipper on the "Wild Wave" out of Half Moon Bay, and is currently Captain of the "Butchie B" running out of Fishermans Wharf.
Tom's seminar will include discussion of water temperature and clarity, live bait, trolling lures, rods, reels, line and even the proper footwork to maximize your catch of "California's most exciting game fish".

Owner of Flash Sport Fishing Charters, Captain Steve Talmadge has fished San Francisco Bay waters since 1970. Talmadge will delve into the secrets of catching Northern California's largest game fish, the mighty sturgeon. He is known as one of the Bay Area's leading experts on the species, which has grown exponentially popular in the past few years.

Carson will discuss the red-hot fishing of Baja's East Cape region. Catching marlin, sailfish, tuna, roosterfish, dorado, wahoo and more is an everyday occurrence at the East Cape.
