The Crooked River is fishing well. It is currently running at 258 CFS. There are lots of caddis hatching so having a good selection of dries for hatch times and utilizing caddis nymphs in your rig during non hatch times will be to your advantage. Dry-dropper setups are fun in the summertime on the crooked with small to mid sized terrestrials. When fish aren’t rising, nymph rigs with zebra midges, scuds, two-bits, pheasant tails and nitro caddis have been effective. Stripping leeches or small buggers is another fun way to get some eats.
