The current flow is 8,300 cfs and the average river temperature is about 45 F.
Prior to last weekend's high water, a few winter steelhead had been caught around Grave Creek so expect more to show up this week and push up into Grants Pass. Pulling plugs or plunking are classic techniques that can get you into a fish. Target eddy and current seams and travel lanes on the inside corners to find migrating steelhead. Expect the river to stay high for the foreseeable future but water clarity isn't terrible and winter steelhead are around with more on the way.
Current flow, temp and turbidity conditions for the Rogue can be found at the USGS stream gauges here, or checking the City of Grants Pass water page's river data here.
