The Crooked river has been fishing well. Nymphing has been great on scuds, two-bits, jigged leeches, balanced leeches, and caddis. Caddis have been hatching many afternoons and evenings as well and making for some fun dry fly action. Dry-dropper setups are always fun on the crooked in the summertime and fish will take terrestrials well. As always swinging around small buggers is another fun way to get some eats on the crooked. Flows are right around 260 CFS and the fish are happy with the cool water being drawn from the depths of the reservoir.
