The wild coho season officially started on Oct. 1 in Tenmile Lakes and will continue until Dec. 31. Boat anglers have been catching coho while trolling spinners or crankbaits. Coho are moving to spawning grounds in streams above the lakes, and many will be darker color for the rest of the season.
With dropping water temperatures largemouth bass will be transitioning off shoreline cover and moving to submerged wood or other hard structures in deeper water.
Yellow perch can be found on deeper mud flats in 15 feet of water or deeper. Use a small jig or hooks with a worm fished near the bottom to catch yellow perch.
Trout fishing in rivers and streams closed after Oct. 31. Trout fishing in the lakes is open year-round.
