Catfish are still hitting. Anchovies, mackerel and Sardines are the best bait for the Cats.
Danny Hollis said, "The trout fishing is on fire. PowerBait and Egg/Worm combos are working the best. They are also being caught using Panther Martins, Rooster tails and Rapalas." The Striper fishing is starting to pick up. Not a lot of catches though. The fishermen have been telling us that the large Stripers have been following swimbaits and artificial lures t the boat. Fishermen with fish finders have been reporting large schools of Stripers in various parts of the lake. Black bass and smallmouth bass are still productive. The best lures have been Rat-l-trps and Panther Martins.
