We just got word that Frenchman's is almost ice free. There is still a little by the dam but that is it. The roads are still wet so proceed with caution if you are planning to go around to the other side of the lake. Not much news on the fishing as of yet. Last year about this time there was a really good midge hatch and fish were very active. Anglers that were doing the best were hanging Maholo nymphs and midges under an indicator in 12-20 feet of water. As the weather warms look for fish to be feeding on midges in much shallower water.
