Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comDespite the recent stormy weather water visibility is improving. With the weather keeping anglers off the water there are several trout plants which haven’t been fished to aggressively. When fisherman are out trout have been biting Garlic Chartreuse and Rainbow Powerbait. Recently plastic trout worms have brought in some bigger trout, and Kastmasters and spinners are getting bites. Mini night crawlers on a sliding sinker setup are reliable. A few crappie have been caught on the south end of the lake when anglers were casting for trout with small Kastmasters. The sunfish populations were strong this year which might yield some decent crappie jigging around shelter and weed lines. A few bass fisherman have been out recently and reported a very slow bass bite. Catfish are still biting around the dam and tower for boaters. (925) 284-9669
