Kirch Wildlife Management Area Fish Report

Nevada Department of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://www.ndow.org

Fishing on the Wayne E. Kirch WMA has been slow across the area. Anglers have had the most success at Haymeadow Reservoir using small spoons and PowerBait. One angler reported good fishing at Dacey Reservoir, His catch included rainbows between 20 and 24 inches. The reservoirs are ice free. Floating weeds may cause some problems when fishing from the Dikes on Cold Springs, Haymeadow and Adams McGill. The upper ends of the reservoirs are now closed. Check the Kiosks and the Nevada Fishing Guide for special regulations on Dacey Reservoir. Only vessels without motors may be used on Dacey Reservoir from Feb. 15 through Aug. 15.
