Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comWater clarity is 10 feet in some spots. Surface temps are currently spiking to 52 degrees by midday. The shallows that have been producing early along the east shore and peninsula is slowing. Fish deeper now, 8 to 16 feet early and go to 22 to 28 feet after 8:00 a.m. The fish have picked up on the abundant insect hatches and are grouping in areas wherever that "event" is happening, picking them off as they rise. More bugs are going airborne because of the increasing numbers, however most are getting slaughtered closer to the bottom. Doug Neal: (530) 258-6732 http://www.almanorfishingadventures.com
