There is more water in Caples Lake than the El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) forecasted, and anyone expected. Today the lake level is 57.4 feet or 87% capacity (62 feet lake level is full). Thanks to EID’s proactive efforts to reduce outflow all winter and spring to approximately 11 cfs (5 cfs is minimum for fish flow).(209) 258-8888
