http://norcal.fishreports.comSurface temperatures range from 71 to 75 degrees. The big spring was pumping out enough cold water to hold a surface temp of 61 and surrounding water around 63. It’s generally found south of Miners Point between Shrimp Island and Eagle’s Nest both north and south of by position. There has been a lot of globular algae on the surface off Wildcat and Lake of the Woods which will move around with the wind. There has been some surface weeds north of Eagle’s Nest but mostly clean off Shrimp Island, Lake of the Woods, Pikes Point and mostly clean out in the middle. Just check lines periodically if you haven’t had a strike in a while. Tui chubs are now hatching. Period. Mainly finding trout full of minnows trolling between Pikes Point, Merrill Beach and Wildcat Point. www.eaglelakefishing.net
