Hot weather, big tides stymie Isleton anglers

Hot weather and big tides have limited the results of many anglers heading to the Isleton area this past week. Although as the temperatures cooled a bit this week and boat traffic slowed after the holiday weekend the summer smallmouth bite is on the upswing. Smallmouth are a great target species this time of year that can help you beat the summer doldrums. Wadda Jigs, and Plastics are good choices here for the hard fighting smallies.
