Trollers get small stripers in Walnut Grove

Stripes are in the area as anglers recover from the furnace blast of heat in the Walnut Grove area as the trolling bite is OK mostly small fish. Best area has been Courtland to Walnut grove. The Sacramento Turning Basin is really the unsung hero here as there continues to be stripes caught there by lure tossers. Hair Jigs and small shad patterns are the top choices here as well.
